WELCOME to Marathwada Gramn Vikas Sanstha (MGVS)


Marathwada Gramin Vikas Sanstha (MGVS) is a Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Public Trust, Society Registration Act. It is also registered under FCRA Act, and also 12A and 80G.

 

Marathwada Gramin Vikas Sanstha (MGVS) started in 1995-96 and has been working in the fields of Children, Community Health service and awareness, Employment Generation programmes, water and sanitation in Aurangabad, Nasik, Jalna and Ahmednagar  District of Maharashtra

 

Why Rural Area?

 

Even though India has developed in many sectors but yet the fruits of the development are limited to few people of the country. The people of rural area where nearly 70% of the population lives are yet far away from the real fruits of the development. In rural area yet it is very difficult to many families to even survive for a single day without any external help. MGVS has identified the extreme need of the rural area and therefore we are serving the needy people since last 18 years

 


 

MGVS Programme & Project Actitvities

Water Conservation

MGVS been been implementing various water harvesting measures and soil conservation using integrated approach

Toilet Construction
MGVS has been working on providing Sanitation & Toilet facilities to 900 rural poor households & 4500 family member

Shelter Home for Orphans

MGVS has a Shelter Home for the Orphan Children providing Education, Food, Medical, etc.,

Beggars Care Home Shelter
MGVS runs 2 Shelter home for beggars providing shelter, food, medical, bed, counselling, etc.,
HIV/AIDS & STD Prevention
MGVS is working on HIV/AIDS/STD prevention, control & medical support for Female Sex Worker (FSW) population in Aurangabad

 

Link Worker Scheme

MGVS’s LWS scheme has created awareness among the rural population about HIV, AIDS & other STI’s

Community Base Health Monitoring
MGVS is working in CBHMP as a district nodal NGO with 2 field NGOs in Aurangabad district since 2011

Community Base Health Care Center

MGVS started a community health center for rural women, children at Karanjgaon, Tal.Vaijapur

CHILDLINE 1098 

CHILDLINE is India’s first 24-hour, toll free, emergency phone outreach service for children in need of care and protection linking them to long-term services for their care and rehabilitation. Any child and concerned adult can call 1098 and access the CHILDLINE service any time of the day or night.

Community Support Care
MGVS runs this center for the service & support of HIV/AIDS infected people - PLHIV
