LINK WORKER SCHEME UNDER HIV/AIDS PROGRAMME

The link worker scheme (LWS) was started in Jan 2009 with the support of NACO, MSACS, Avert Society and KHPT, the parent organizations for MGVS. MGVS’s LWS scheme has played an instrumental role in creating awareness among the rural population about HIV, AIDS & other STI’s, MGVS has helped to expedite the procedure of identification & mapping and has therefore played an instrumental role in the overall initiative.
